If you write so much
how do you know
what is good,
the old monk asked
the poet.

SCIENTISTS DON'T
Scientists don't strike up
the usual conversation,
the old monk said.

YOU'RE EITHER
You're either
Howdy Doody
or Buffalo Bob --
those are the choices,
the old monk said.
