THREE OLD MONK POEMS (322)

WHEN I'M ALL

When I'm all here
I'm not all there,
the old monk admitted.

~

IT WAS A BIG ONE

It was a big one,
the storm that blew
through him,

the old monk
on the mountain.

~

IF I TOLD

If I told you
everything I know,

I'd burn my supper
the old monk said.
