THE STARS ARE
The stars are
as many as
there are but
who's counting,
the old monk said.

TOO MANY
Too many
is the reason
to go up
the mountain,
the old monk said,
and not
enough
the reason
to stay.

YOU DON'T KNOW
You don't know
you don't know
until you know,
the old monk says.
