HE WANTS TO
He wants to sound serious
but is afraid it's all nonsense --
does that remind you
of anyone,
the old monk asked
his students.

ON THE MOUNTAIN
On the mountain
for a little while
you're not on earth,
the old monk said,
that holy moment.
~
THE STARS MOVE
The stars move
at terrible speed
and we move with them,
the old monk said.
