IF EVERYTHING
If everything you do
is nothing
nothing you do
is anything,
the old monk says.

IT'S NOT
It's not a contest,
the old monk told himself,
you're just trying to
write a poem.

A LARGE UNHAPPINESS
A large unhappiness
or many small ones --
what is your preference,
the old monk asked.
