HE ABOVE
He Above seldom comes
to our aid when we are
attacked by Kalau the Evil --
pray accordingly,
the old monk said.

IN THE DAYS
In the days
of Great Crow
all men could fly.
Now only
a few monks do,
the old monk said.
~
NO ONE ASCENDS
No one ascends
the mountain
by his own choice --
he must be
invited,
the old monk says.
~
