SEEING SPIRITS
Seeing spirits -- in darkness
or in the light -- is necessary
before you can ever hope to
touch God on the mountain,
the old monk said.

My guide is the hawk,
the old monk said,
my power in his
wings and talons, in
the might of his strike.

THE UNIVERSE IS
The universe is
the universe
dreaming itself,
the old monk said.
