THREE OLD MONK POEMS (91)

IT'LL BE

It'll be
what you want
it to be

until no one
else wants it,
the old monk says.

~

WHAT CAN YOU KNOW

What can you know
if you don't know the stars,
the old monk asked him.

The physicist said,
I'm more theoretical than that.

~

COULD HE BE

Could he be
stranger

if he's already
a stranger,

the old monk
wondered.
