THE LESSONS
The lessons of a good poem
lie beyond its boundaries,
the old monk said to the poet.

HOW MUCH HEAVEN
How much heaven
can we stand?
Even the stars
don't know,
the old monk says.

IF YOU DON'T WAIT
If you don't wait for it to close,
you won't get your shirt caught,
the old monk said.
